Here is another sign which shows that 3G iPhone is on the way - the latest beta release of Firmware 2.0 specially made for the iPhone includes the “Enable 3G” mode which can be disabled and the iPhone will go back to GPRS/EDGE in order to save some battery, because 3G which is a faster service “decreases battery life”. You can check this out for yourself, just go to Applications/Preferences.app/Network.plist in the beta release. I can’t wait to 3G iPhone to be released and I hope that Apple will not disappoint millions of fans.
