Spray-On Liquid Glass by Nanopool
A German company called Nanopool just invented a new technology that may change our everyday living. Its flexible, its breathable, its 500 times thinner than a millimeter, its liquid glass. When sprayed over an object, liquid glass resists bacteria, dirt, water, UV rays, you name it.
Anything coated with liquid glass can be cleaned simply by rinsing it with hot water. Doing this disinfects anything just as strongly as bleach would. Also, liquid glass is harmless to the environment. This means that liquid glass could soon replace a variety of cleaning products which are harmful to the environment, leaving our world coated in an invisible, wipe-clean sheen.
Several organizations are said to be testing the product, including a train company in Britain, which is using liquid glass on both the interior and exterior of the train, a luxury hotel chain, a designer clothing company and a German branch of a hamburger chain.
