We’ve been hearing more and more about multi-touch tablets and netbooks over the past few days, and the topic is still growing. Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer is expected to reveal a tablet of their own tonight (Wednesday) during his CES 2010 keynote. Considering the fact that Apple may reveal their tablet later this month, Microsoft better have something good up their sleeve.

The tablet, manufactured by Hewlett-Packard, is expected to feature multitouch, e-reader, and multimedia functionalities. At least that’s what the the New York Times is reporting, citing unnamed sources. The “slate-type computer” is supposed to be “available by mid-year” and we may already have heard the name publicly.
