NYT: Palm Pre to be Released First Week of June

The New York Times has just announced that the Palm Pre is coming soon. Soon as in the beginning of next month. Announced at CES 2009, the Palm Pre had already been set to launch in June. We now know that it will be up for sale at some point within the 5th or 7th.

In the past, “nobody gave nothing about mobile phones — they weren’t headline grabbers,” said Charles Wolf, a cellphone industry analyst with Needham & Company. “This summer will be really interesting. It could be potentially the most exciting time in this market.”
