DELL Inspiron 1525

The Inspiron 1525 has been made available beggining with 9 January. It was expected to be released this December, but it was postponed. Dell’s Australian website listed the product details for the notebook. It features a 2GHz Core 2 Duo T7250, an integrated graphic card X3100, 15.4 inch Widescreen WXGA, TFT Display with TrueLife, 2GB 667MHz dual-channel DDR2 and 160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive. Dells special offer includes a free upgrade of the hard drive to 250GB until 3 January. We think that it had been better if this offer came out for Christmas, but they probably know better.

Intel Silverthorne

The rivalry between Apple and Intel seems to vanish. In the near future, the “fruit company” will be one of the numerous supporters of Intel’s “Menlow” Mobile Internet Device (MID) platform. Apple will use for many products on 2008 the 45nm Silverthorne chips. These mini-chips are as fast as the second generation of Pentium M processors, but they “need” between half-a-watt and two watts of electric power. Apple will use Silverthorne for cellphones, ultra mobile PC’s and other MIDs. The chips will be available for about $100 when Apple will start shipping them in early 2008.

Mio C620

The sales of the Mio C620 and C620t has been announced in Europe, but we don’t have any information of the price or the availability for America. What makes the C620-series different from other GPS devices is the preloaded landmarks which gives you a 3D experience. The 4.3-inch display can be used in split screen mode so you could see all the turns you have to make to the destination. The Mio C620 and C620t also feature speed camera alerts and traffic alerts. With this devices we’re sore that we can always find the best way of reaching the destination.
