RAM Overclock With XMP RAM

Some time in the past nVidia released SLI Memory and Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP). They were based on the fact that by coupling the right memory on the right chipset and motherboard you could overclock the RAM you have without knowing how to do this. iUnlock Rumors Not True - iPhone Unlock Still Delivered

OK, so now the iPhone unlock can not be stopped, once with the release of iUnlock. It seems that customers of iPhoneSIMfree’s biggest distributor, Aussie iPhone Unlock, have a problem. It seems that emails were sent to their customers that said the iPhoneSIMfree is not responding to honoring new orders for unlock licenses. Microsoft Applies Changes to Vista Search

Microsoft recently presented the most important changes it will make to the desktop search function in Windows Vista. This comes after in June it agreed to make the modification to the way this feature works after an attack from Google. The changes will come with the first Windows vista service pack. A beta version of it will be launched in a couple of weeks and the final version should be ready early next year. AT&T can’t stop iPhone unlocking anymore

A free, open source iPhone SIM unlock software has been released and it’s called iUnlock. The source code has been made public and there’s no chance AT&T can stop the iPhone unlocking.
If you want to unlock your iPhone, here, here or here you can find the files needed for the process. Actually, the software has been tested and it seems to work and, above that, you can always restore it.

BitMicro announced 416Gb 2.5-inch SSD

SSD is a great storage technology, being fast, stable and with low battery consumption. Today, BitMicro announced a new 2.5-inch SSD with 416Gb of storage capacity. Currently, this holds the record for SSD capacity, but it’s not even close cheap. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to buy the memories until March, 2008.

Apple Licenses 3G Technology - Possible iPhone Use

InterDigital Inc recently signed a 7 year licensing agreement with Apple in order to provide technology for the iPhone. Rumors have it that the company will get $2 million per quarter, a definite benefit for the rising company. Hints: 240 GB iPODs by 2009

Toshiba recently launched a prototype hard disk that uses special Discrete Track Recording (DTR) technology in order to create a 120 GB storage space system on one 1.8 inch platter. This is the first ever use of DTR. The entire technology is based on increasing areal density of PMR by 50%. Mass production of these hard disks should start in 2009.

Sony Might Counter the iTunes Video Section

Sony might be able to exploit one of Apple iTunes’ weaknesses and that stands in video downloads. MP3 Players Can Damage Your Hearing

An alarming subject was brought in the media lately. Two thirds of young people that use MP3 players may face premature hearing damage because of high volumes. The Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID) found that eight million MP3 players were sold last year in the UK alone and accused manufacturers that they do not put warnings on packaging for customers. Well, Gregory Kopiloff, from Seattle, proved us wrong when he used a new scheme by using the Lime Wire peer to peer file sharing software.
