Amazon Leeks Canon EOS 40D Data and Price

Even large corporations make mistakes. It is Amazon’s turn to do a leak. The site posted delivery and specs for Canon’s EOS 40D, not official of course until all will be released. Listed availability was September 20. We can also tell you the listed specs including 10.1 megapixel, a self-cleaning CMOS sensor, APS-C sized, 9 point AF, 30% faster shutter speed, DIGIC III image processing, LCD display of 3.0 inch, Enhanced Live View, ISO 3200 maximum sensitivity, continuous shooting at 6.5 fps, CF card storage and 35-zone metering system. The Canon EOS 40D seems to be larger than the EOS 30D and weighs around 40 grams more. According to Amazon the digital camera will also support an sRAW mode that trims the number of pixels to one fourth of a standard RAW image while keeping all the flexibility of the normal RAW image.Canon’s EOS 40D seems like a great upgrade for everybody that was holding out on purchasing the 30D model. THe last thing that was published on Amazon was price, which stood at $1,299.99.  It was later deleted, together with the mentioned release date.
