A unique mobile phone has been announced by Pantech. The IM-R200 is a slider mobile phone with a LCD keypad, a 2 megapixel camera, 116MB of internal memory, expandable via the microSD memory card slot and a QVGA primary display, excepting the keypad one. Pantech IM-R200’s keypad is hard to use, being practically a display and i can’t really see the advantage.

Michael Laut, designer at Yanko Design crafted this amazing piece of art, it’s called Radia and it’s more likely a fashion accessory than a mobile phone. The brushed aluminum outer-ring and touch-screen display would make any style conscious person drool. There are no signs of cameras, high res colored graphics or other smart phone capabilities, but when it looks like that you would probably buy it just to show off.

Nokia has finally introduced another thin cell phone. The 6120 is almost as thin as their N76, but it’s a classic phone, running the S60 3rd edition. It features a 2 megapixel flash camera, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, microSD memory card slot, quad band GSM and HSDPA/WCDMA 850/2100.
The Nokia 6120 has a 2 inches QVGA display and it’s priced at $352 or €260, becoming available in June.

 eMachines updates it’s displays and desktops lines with the T3612, T5008 and T5226 desktop PCs, along with a 19 inches widescreen and a 17 inches standard form one. The T3612 features a Intel Pentium Celeron D 360 processor and the T5226 a Intel Pentium D 925 3Ghz processor. TomTom has announced the release of a new GPS, the ONE XL GPS. The device has a widescreen 4.3 inches display, Bluetooth 2.0 and 32MB of RAM. For the United States and Canada it comes with preinstalled maps. It will be available starting June for the price of $400.

Three LCDs have just been announced by Envision, the H1981, H1781 and G918W1. The G918W1 is a widescreen with a 1,440×900 pixels resolution and a contrast of 800:1, featuring a HDCP compliant DVI port. The Envision H1781 and H1981 have the same features, a 1,280×1,024 resolution, 700:1 contrast ratio, a VGA input and 170 degrees viewing angle, but the first one has 17 inches and the second 19. NEC has announced four LaVie laptops, which are not very interesting. The LaVie C features a Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 2.0Ghz CPU, Radeon X1600 graphics card with 512MB of RAM, a Blu-ray drive and HDMI. It’s 15.4″ display comes in both WXGA and WXGA+ versions, first having a 1,280×800 resolution and the second one 1,440×900. The other three laptops announced are the LaVie J, a Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 1.06Ghz, with XGA display, LaVie L Basic Type and LaVie L Advanced Type. Price of availability are currently unknown.

The Lenovo ThinkPad T60P ( Vista Version ) comes with a wide screen, which is more consumer friendly than it’s older version, non-wide. It’s design is professional and nice looking, making it look like a real business laptop, that is.  GeForce will introduce three new graphic cards, on April 17th. The GeForce 8600 GT, GeForce 8600 GTs, that sports a 256MB of GDDR3, a 1000Mhz memory clock and a 675Mhz core clock and the 8500 GT, that features a 128 or 256MB of DDR2 or GDDR3 and a 700Mhz memory clock and 450Mhz core clock.

Cowon Q5 PMP to be released in June, for a price varying from $499 to $549, depending on the device’s capacit, 40Gb or, respectively 60Gb. The Q5 features Wi-Fi, HSDPA and Bluetooth and it has a 5 inch 800×480 pixels resolution display, with DVR capabilities and a codec that supports DivX and XviD. It has FM tuner, built-in speakers and, as an option, a TeleAtlas-based GPS.

Intel has announced an extremely powerful processor, the QX6800, which is a Core 2 Extreme quad core, at 2.93Ghz. The processor is priced at $1,200, which is more than expensive and for someone who needs such a powerful PC, it’s cheaper to overclock a less powerful one. Availability is currently unknown.

The HP Pavilion m7780n is a mid-end PC, which has great performances for it’s low price and it also features a HD DVD. It comes with Windows Vista preinstalled and it is great for a general use PC, not a gaming or extraordinary graphic design. MSI has released a Intel powered laptop, with Core 2 Duo or Core Solo, depending on configuration. the MSI MS-1037 has a 17 inches wide LCD display, a Nvidia GeFoce 7600 graphics card and a SATA HDD, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and Express Card slot. The cheapest version will be priced at about $1,150 and the options will cost a few hundred dollars more.

Intel has announced the release of some new, better ultra low voltage processors, especially designed for UMPCs and ultra portables. The New ULV Core 2 Duos are the 1.06Ghz U7500 and 1.2Ghz U7600, what a power in such a low size and low voltage. Those new CPUs are compatible with the current Napa and the upcoming Santa Rosa platforms. We currently know nothing about the price.
