Samsung SPH-M8100

Samsung will re-release a WiBro phone with a dedicated RSS key, the SPH-M8100. The RSS key will be placed upper-right on the keypad.  The version that will be released now has a new facelift and the features seem to be the same, packing CDMA, EV-DO radios and DMB mobile TV. But now it will run on the Windows Mobile 6.0.
Other features are Bluetooth, a 2.8″ display and a 2 megapixel camera.

It is not the newest the newest thing around, but it has some features which make it still be a good choice for some. It is for the budget-minded, but it also has good quality.

The XPS M1710 is very good for gamers, but not just for them. It has some good features which are not present in too many other laptops.
It measures 15.5 inches wide, 11.3 inches deep, and 1.6 inches thick and it weighs 8.1 pounds. It’s not small, but the 17-inch LCD wide-screen display makes up for that. HTC Advantage Announced

HTC will release another handheld under it’s own brand. The HTC Advantage is also called Athena and will have a very nice design and great features, like a 5″VGA touchscreen display, tri-band UMTS / HSDPA and quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE.
It comes with a 8GB drive, expandable via miniSD card slot, a 256MB flash memory and 128MB RAM. The handheld also has a 3.5mm standard audio jack and will be available this summer, at an undisclosed price.

Motion Computing Released LE1700 High-end Tablet PC

The Motion Computing LE1700 we wrote about 2 days ago has finally got official. It will come with1.5Ghz Core 2 Duo and a 1.2Ghz ULV Core Solo, the first one being priced at $2,000 and the second one at $2,000, but this prices don’t include options like EV-DO, WriteTouch 12.1″ SXGA+ display will definitely raise the price. Also, if you want to run Vista on it, the 512MB RAM included won’t be enough. Also, you can choose to add a convertible keyboard or a USB keyboard with touchpad included.

Sony Ericsson Introduced Z750 and W580 Walkman Phones

Two new Walkman phones have been announced today by Sony Ericsson. The W580 is a slider with a quad band GSM and EDGE connectivity. It also features a 2 magpixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 and a great 2″ QVGA display.
The Sony Ericsson Z750 is a clmshell phone still with a 2 megapixel camera, FM radio and Bluetooth 2.0, but it’s display is a bit larger, at 2.2 inches.

It may not be bringing anything revolutionat, it does have some interesting and useful features added. It has stereo Bluetooth, an Opera Web browser, and improved call quality and it represents a step forward in the Razr family.

Flexible Battery Developed by Japanese Scientists

A new polymed based battery has been developed by Japanese scientists from Waseda University. This special battery, not only it charges in less than a minute, but it can last for 1,000 recharges and is also flexible. The battery is 200nm thick, being extremely thin and unlike other polymer based batteries, it won’t self discharge. What more would we want from a battery ?

Motion Computing to release high-end LE1700

Motion Computing to release a great high end tablet PC, called LE1700, featuring a Core 2 Duo processor, 1.5Ghz and a 12.1″ SXGA+ display. But there are a lot of other features, like 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, acceletometer, dual mode digitizer, fingerprint reader and a HSDPA mobile broadband. The tablet PC can be configured to come with a Core Solo CPU and should have a long battery lifetime, due to low power processors. Currently price or release date haven’t been disclosed.

The Zen V and the Zen V Plus may not be the newest in town, but they are good ones and they are still worth it. They are small and look nice, but that doesn’t stop them from displaying impressive performance.
