Palm TX

The Palm TX looks a lot like Palm Tungsten E2, but the colour and fashionly design makes it a bit more attractive. The screen has a 4 inch diagonal and it supports more than 65,000 colors and a 320×480-pixel resolution. Text and images are browsable thanks to a toolbar at the bottom edge of the screen.

On it’s top you can find a headphone jack, a power button and an SDIO/MMC expansion slot as well as a stylus holder. It’s also included with multiconnector USB cable. The processor is somewhat satisfying: 312MHz Bulverde Intel processor; it has 128MB of nonvolatile flash memory of which 100 MB is usser accesible. Thanks to those features, it moves quite fast, except for a short pause when you switch to different applications.

It comes with integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, it’s battery is reliable but not user replaceble,
it has some very useful tools and fun features. An affordable choice for $299.
