The mobile phone that has been released by Apple this month seems to be twice expensive than the production price. The costs to build a 4GB iPhone are lower tha $250 and it’s being sold for $499, with a 2 year contract. So, Apple puts in it’s pocket half of the money you pay for each version of iPhone.

A new stylish and modern designed webcam has been announced by Mustek. The Mustek SI302A is looking great and extremely futuristic, with a glamor aspect, that has a 0.25″ CMOS sensor, captures 1,280×1,024 pixels resolution videos, at 30 frames per second, has auto focus and is connectible via USB 2.0. It also features a high quality microphone, that will make it just great for video chats. It’s expected to be available in March, but the price is still unknown.

Viewsonic has released a 17″ widescreen display, at a relatively low price of $200. The Viewsonic VA1703wb has a 1,440×990 native resolution, which is quite normal for this type of monitor, a contrast ratio of 500:1 and 250 cd/m2 brightness. It’s response time is 8ms, which is good and has just a VGA inputs, this being the only way to connect it with the PC. The display will be available in Q1 this year.

Canon has released three new PowerShots, the A460, A550 and A450. The Canon PowerShot A550 will be available for $200 and will have a 7.1 megapixel sensor, the A460 will cost $150 and will have a 5.0 megapixel sensor. They will also have DIGIC II image processor, which is must faster and better, 4X optical zoom and 2″ LCD displays. The Lenovo Thinkpad T60p has been added to ColorWare multi colored lineup, but it’s specifications remain the same. The laptop has a 15.4 inch widescreen display, can hold up to 160GB of HDD space, 2GB of RAM and has a Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, at 2.0Ghz. The laptop will be available in 28 colors for the price of $2,950 and the order will be shipped in 2-3 weeks after request.

Sony has upgraded two of it’s digital cameras and released two more, the DSC-W30 and DSC-W50 to DSC-W35 and DSC-W55 and has put in them 7.2 megapixel sensors and support for Memory Stick Pro Duo memory cards of up to 8GB. Sony has released a great desktop PC, the Sony Vaio R Master, with extremely increased performances, like the Intel Core 2 Quad Q660, 2.4Ghz processor, up to 3GB of DDR2 RAM at 667Mhz or 3TB of SATA HDD. It came Panasonic’s turn to release it’s Vista Ready laptops and it already announced it’s new Toughbooks, the W5, T5 and Y5. Samsung has announced a mobile phone with the VibeTonz technology used as tactile feedback. This technology has only been used before on ringtones and gaming enhancements. The Samsung SCH-W559 has a QVGA touchscreen that can be used both with the finger or stylus and the VibeTonz can make the touchscreen feel like real keys, when touching them.The Samsung SCH-W559 will have a 1.3 megapixel camera, handwriting recognition, CDMA and GSM, audio and video playback and Bluetooth.
