Asus A8Jr

Asus has announced yet another new laptop, the A8Jr, which features a Intel Core 2 Duo processor and the X2300 Mobility Radeon graphics. The laptop includes good components and is highly connectible, with the Intel 945PM Express chipset, Bluetooth 2.0, ExpressCard slot, 802.11a/b/g Intel Pro Wi-Fi and VGA, DVI, TV Out.The Asus A8Jr has a 14.1 LCD Display, but we don’t know either it’s resolution or other specifications. If you are a laptop user and like to use it on your feet, you must have had problems with the heat, that’s why Brando tought of designing a USB Retractable Laptop Cooling Pad, connectible via USB, of course, and that only weights 405 grams. The Pad is retractable, so you can reduce is size, to make it more portable, because, being designed for a laptop, which most important feature is the portability, it must be the same.

The Most Expensive Mouse

If you are a luxury lover, this mouse is great for you, as it’s the most expensive mouse ever, with 59 diamonds on it, of 18 karat. This mouse has a resolution of 800 dpi, but it doesn’t look very comfortable for the hand, so it should better fit behind a window, not on a mouse pad.

Proteus - A Hybrid Prototype Boat

Silicon Valley has built a prototype of boat, called Proteus, that looks more like a spider and is 100 foot big. It’s powered by two engines of 355hp each and can reach a top speed of up to 70mph. It’s very comfortable and it costs about $5 million to build, considering the materials were received as a donation.

Samsung Ultra Edition 5.9

Samsung has recently announced the Ultra Edition 5.9, a phone which name’s coming from it’s thickness of 5.9 millimeters. Currently it’s the world thinest mobile phone, that Samsung can be proud of. It has GSM support, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 80MB of internal memory, Bluetooth and will be available in march for an undisclosed price yet.

8.28 Megapixel in 1/2.5″ Sensor by Sharp

Sharp hasn’t been satisfied just with the 10 and 12 megapixel sensors for the ultracompact cameras, now announcing even a more compact 1/2.5 inch CCD with a 8.28 megapixel resolution. For achieving this resolution at such a low size, Sharp has used the  industry’s smalled class cells, of 1.75 μm x 1.75 pixels.This sensor is 40 percent smaller than the other previous models and it’s planning to make things even smaller. The sensor’s price will be at $33, not very high.

“UR” stored in a single photon of light ? Yes, a team of researched really managed to do that, by not storing ones and zeros, as in the binary code, but using other method, that sounds impossible, but works. After the whole storing process, the light is compressed to 1% of it’s original size and this makes it possible.

Asus A686 and A696 announced

Asus has just announced two slim PDAs, with GPS and good performances. Asus has fortunately removed the antenna and replaced it with a stainless steel frame, making the PDAs look better. Both the Asus A686 and Asus A696 come with 802.11b/g wireless, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, Windows Mobile 5.0, SiRF Star III Receiver, a 3.5″  touchscreen with a resolution of 320×240, 64MB of SDRAM, integrated speaker and mic, rechargeable battery and audio recording capability. PSP2 Cobalt - just rumors ?

There’s a rumor that PSP2 would be released and there are even some specs, but it’s mostly probable that this will only remain a rumor for some time. The specs look like this: brighter screen, visual battery display, Firmware 4.07, built of metal and ruggedized rubber built, dual analog controllers, a flash drive with 8GB capacity, Wi-fi 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth 2.0, with A2DP and AVRCP.

The Wowpen

If you’re bored of your old classic mouse or even of a techy mouse, now you can acquire something new and innovative. The Wowpen is looking like a pen, but a bit thicker and has the same functions as a standard mouse. Also, it’s compatible with both PC or MAC, as every other mouse.
