The Olympus Stylus 730 is a 7 megapixel slim digital camera, with a great body design, as it’s name - stylus - indicates. It has a 3 inch LCD display and large, easy-to-push, glowing buttons on it’s right. It also has a shutter and zoom control on it’s top, but this are hard-to-use, due to the camera slimness. As mostly slim cameras, it doesn’t have an optical viewfinder, so the only you can use is the LCD display. It’s very easy to use, having only timer, flash and macro adjustments, the rest being automatic. This is very good for users that only want to take point-and-shoot photos.
The camera can also record movie clips, with 30 frames per second and it can be used in snow or rain, having the body sealed. Olympus Stylus 730′ biggest disadvantage is it’s low image quality, photos having too much noise and being fuzzy. And the lens don’t get the colors very well, sometimes distorting them seriously.
Another problem is the shooting speed, taking it from 2.5 to 3.5 seconds to take a photo and 2.5 seconds to power up.
The Olympus Stylus 730 is a camera mostly made for it’s very nice looking design, than for photo quality, which it seriously misses.

The Asus G1 is a midsize laptop, designed as a gaming system is pretty cheap, at $1,799. It’s gaming scores weren’t the best, but it’s reasonable. It has a 15.4 inch display and the laptop measures 1.6 inch high, 11.2 inches deep and 14 inches wide and is a good replacement of desktop. The Asus G1 is 7 pounds weight, heavier than most laptops of it’s class and size. It’s design is looking great, black and simple.
The display has a 1,280 x 800 resolution, which is a bit low than other laptops and won’t be very pleasant for you if you want to play games at high resolution.
The Asus G1 is good at conectivity, with 4 USB 2.3 jacks, a memory card reader, a mini Firewire jack, a PC Card slot, VGA, DVI and S-Video output fot pluging in external displays, mic and line-in audio jacks. It also comes with extra technologies, like 802.11a/b/g wireless, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a modem and a 10/100 Ethernet LAN.
As performance, it has a 2.0 GHZ Intel Core2Duo T7200 Processor, a 160 GB harddisk at 5,400 RPM, 2 GB of DDR2 RAM. The Asus G1 has a Nvidia GeForce GO7700 GPU, which is not the best option for a gaming system.
Another plus for it is the battery life, which is more than 3 hours. The laptop has only one year of warranty and shipment to warranty will be paid by the customer. As support, is not very good, the calls being hour limited and not toll-free.

The Dell E207WFP is a 20 inch wide LCD TFT display, with a retail price of $260. It has a really nice design and has a HDCP compliant DVI input, which is good. Unfortunately, it can’t pivot or swivel, but it can be tilted 21 degrees back and 4 degrees forward, having a non adjustable height.
The display is pretty low on extras, having no speakers or memory card slots. It has a response time of 5 ms, which is pretty fast, the contrast ratio is 800:1 and the viewing angle is 160 degrees both on vertical and horizontal. The highest resolution supported is 1,680 x 1,050 and the dot pitch is .258 mm.
It’s performance is not great, but not very poor, especially at this low price. This is morely prefered by casual users, both home and business, but for those that prefer quality for DVD watching and game playing, it won’t satisfy them.
The Dell E307WFP is a mid-end display, with a low price, which is worth it. IT has 3 years of warranty, but can pe expanded for $29 by one year and for $49 by two years.
